Nubia, Ethiopia, and India

Did Africa influence other places beside Egypt? India, perhaps?

Greek writers referred to India as a part of Ethiopia.

  1. Here is a video you may find interesting. It is about the aksumite influence on India http://youtu.be/jJLGBvjqzlY I offer this video with one advice. I do not buy in that these Africans or some of them were slaves. They call them "sidi" which means lord or someone of high social or noble status. You won't call a slave that. Also if you read the Kebra Nagast which is a history of the Aksumite empire, the kings claim to rule from parts of Sudan to present day Ethiopia all the way to India. They also include as far as Jerusalem is in their control too. We know the Ethiopians ruled parts of Arabia at one time. One of their kings almost sacked Mecca. His name was Abraha
